Please tell me you’ve heard of this and been before? It’s okay, it’s okay, I’m not mad if you haven’t. I’ll fill you in on this Seattle fall event that’s been kinda of a big deal for the last 21 years.

Elysian makes pumpkin beer in the fall (don’t stop reading just because you don’t like pumpkin beer! Geez, we’ll get there, you’ll have fun too) they make a ton of different ones, my personal favorite is Punkuccino, and some of it they age in a giant pumpkin that at the end of the night gets tapped. It’s a really awesome party.

They’ll also have pumpkin beers from breweries around the country, AND CIDERS! We begged and pleaded and harrased last year, and the kind souls at Elysian let us in! The best part: WE DIDN’T even have to ask this year! So we’ll be back with our Night Market, our seasonal cider made with a toasted yerba mate chai.

K, I’m trying really hard to remember if there were any non-pumpkin flavored beers for you haters. There were non-pumpkin flavored ciders for sure… I dunno. But I’d give it another whirl. The pilgrims made it, it’s a tradition.
